Our vision is to create a world where all young people lead mentally healthy and fulfilling lives. Our role is to help prevent mental-ill health before it develops and to get young people the right support if it does.

We need your support on November 24th to help us raise $180,000 so we can continue to provide crucial preventative mental health education to young people across Australia, and create the change we need to see.

Sharing lived experience stories and peer-to-peer education is at the heart of everything we do at batyr. Our workshops and programs are grounded in the lived experience of young people who have been through it before.

The reality is that 2 in 5 young people in Australia will experience mental ill-health and suicide remains the leading cause of death for this age group. But, it doesn’t have to be this way.

We need YOUR support to change these heartbreaking statistics. Our prevention and early intervention workshops, programs and initiatives are crucial to truly changing the picture of mental health for young people in Australia.

Here’s how your TRIPLED donation can make a difference...

$25 transforms into $75 - this can provide 3 high school students with critical mental health education.
$50 transforms into $150 - this could help fund training for a young person to learn how to safely share their story of mental ill-health through a Being Herd workshop.
$100 transforms into $300 - this can allow 12 young people to attend a batyr@school program, where they learn how to take charge of their own mental health and how to support their mates through tough times.
$500 transforms into $1,500 - this can allow 60 young people to attend a batyr@school program, where they learn how to take charge of their own mental health and how to support their mates through tough times.
$1,000 transforms into $3,000 - this can help fund a Community Forum to empower parents, teachers and community members with the skills and knowledge to help a young person before they reach crisis point.
$5,000 transforms into $15,000 - this could help fund a regional tour of batyr@school programs through at-risk communities, providing vital mental health literacy and resources.
