NOW IS THE TIME!
Join us as one family to raise
ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
for Chabad at KU to celebrate our Bar Mitzvah year and rise above and secure its growth into the next level!
Over the past 12 years KU Chabad has seen phenomenal growth. This blessing has brought along with it the need for ever growing family of partners who make it all happen. We need YOU to help support this thriving organization. As we mark year #13 for KU Chabad, this campaign of $160,000 in 24 hours will secure the sustainability of KU Chabad’s future in 2018.
For the next 24 HOURS ONLY every single dollar YOU give will be matched by three groups of
generous benefactors to help us reach our goal of ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS.
How it works:
In an unprecedented gesture of goodwill, a groups of special donors have agreed to match every donation dollar for dollar.
· Every penny you donate is QUADRUPLED! That means that for every dollar that you give, Chabad at University of Kansas will get $4.
· Remember: The campaign is ALL OR NOTHING – we must raise the full amount within 24 hours, or all donations will be returned.

About Chabad @ KU:
For so many students at KU, Chabad has become their “Home Away From Home” and their connection to the Jewish community. From the ongoing classes and programs on campus and residence halls, to the campus-wide holiday celebrations and so much more, Chabad at KU has become a beacon of a light and an anchor of Jewish learning and values amidst the many challenges facing today’s young college students.
The Chabad House at KU is an address where every student can turn to for everything from a homemade bowl of chicken soup on a Friday night, to an insightful Jewish discussion during the week, to a shoulder to lean on in a time of pain to a place to be for be for the holidays. On a personal level, Rabbi Zalman and Nechama Tiechtel are available 24/7 for counseling or just a welcoming friendly chat. Our students are not just friends, they are family.
At Chabad we truly believe that every Jew is part of their family. It is this non-judgmental attitude and welcoming environment that has created such a warm and vibrant Jewish community at the University of Kansas and the surrounding area.
As we embark on our Bar Mitzvah year, our pledge is to continue to touch the heart and soul of every single Jewish student at KU, thus increasing their knowledge and commitment to the Jewish people and humanity.
